A 3 Front War

The United States is engaged on three fronts when it comes to its war on terror. On one side there is the forces of islamo-fascist ideology, the second is its internal war against the cut and run liberals, on the third front is the global media machine. This war is like none fought in the history of the United States and with foes both within and without; it is an uphill battle all the way.

The forces of islamo-fascist ideology include all of the known and unknown terror groups and the nations that sponsor them. The ever growing list includes Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, Iran, Syria, Lebanon and many more. Their focus is to spread their ideology across the world. They have infiltrated virtually every nation on earth and have found sponsors around the globe. They have weapons and financing like never before, and intend to make good on the failed conquest of the world that took place in the Middle Ages.

They do not fear death, they embrace it. From childhood they are raised to hate the Jews and all infidels (non Muslims) and to believe that anyone who rejects their religion should be killed. Their indoctrination includes an ingrained belief that death in the pursuit of the spread of their religion will earn them a place in paradise, and the more infidels they kill the better.

The entire social structure of the islamo-fascist ideology is one of strict Islamic law and world conquest. They consider it their obligation to convert every one in the world to Islam or kill them. This is a movement that is gaining steam and is driven by generations of ingrained ideology. They can not be reasoned with, and they view the infidel’s desire to negotiate and appease as a weakness. Perhaps it was this intent desire for world conquest in the middle ages that sparked the crusades. While there are many who categorize the crusades a brutal and barbaric, one has to wonder if they did not respond in kind to the Islamic foes that they were facing.

The cut and run liberals in the American Democratic Party are playing right into the hands of the islamo-fascist movement. When Murtha, Kerry, Kennedy and others refer to Iraq as George Bush’s Vietnam they sent the message that the United States does not have the stomach for a protracted conflict. When the Democrats make the round of the cable talk shows, many of which are available globally via satellite, talking about setting a time table for leaving Iraq they reinforce belief that they can simply wait the United States out. The US may have the strongest military in the world but do the people have the stomach for this war? The islamo-fascists are willing to die for Islam and politicians in the United States cry because of high oil prices and put their own soldiers on trial for fighting a war in which civilians and terrorists are indistinguishable.

George Bush has been criticized for going to war in Iraq. While this debate has raged for years, the fact of the matter is that he chose Iraq as the primary battlefield for the war against islamo-fascist terror. Foreign fighters have been streaming into Iraq to die in battle against the United States in the name of their religion. Meanwhile Americans at home are able to go about their daily lives and live in an economy that has grown at greater than expected rates. The brave people who voluntarily join our armed forces and fight to give us the right to live our lives in peace here at home are fighting on the battle field of Iraq to destroy the forces of islamo-fascist terror. How must they feel when they see prominent members of the Democrat Party under cutting their Commander in Chief with their cut and run rhetoric? They must surely feel that their sacrifices are not appreciated if the Democrats have their way and the United States pulls out of Iraq before the war is won.

On the third front is the global media machine. It is driven by the American media which has become the anti-Bush attack dog and fails to realize that everything they put out over the airwaves is seen around the world via satellite. When they run their pieces on manufactured poll numbers showing the support of the American people for the war in Iraq is dropping the enemy sees it as a motivational piece. (Having been polled myself, I can tell you that I have been asked if I disapprove of Bush’s handling of the war in Iraq, but never asked why I disapprove. On this I base my conclusion that the polls are manufactured.) Many Americans disapprove of the way the war in Iraq has been handled because we feel that President Bush should have brought the full force of the American military to bear and not tried to fight a “politically correct war” complete with embedded reporters stabbing our troops in the back at every opportunity.

Ask yourselves the following questions:

  • Could the North have won the civil war in today’s media environment?
  • Could we have won WWI in today’s media environment?
  • Could we have won WWII in today’s media environment?
  • Was the developing media environment during Vietnam a contributing factor to our decision to pull out?

The answer to these questions would indicate that the media has a tremendous influence on the way this Nation executes its war plans. It is as if the media in this nation believes itself to be above it all and does not realize the impact it has driving up the enemy’s morale and jeopardizing the lives of American troops. I am not advocating propagandizing, but responsible journalism. At some point National Security interest must come before the latest media hit piece on President Bush and the war on islamo-fascist terror. The media should ask themselves where they would be should the enemy succeed and impose sharia law on the world. Where would their freedom of speech be then?
