Muslim Cleric Supports Gay Execution

Liberal’s in the United States view the Republican Party as the enemy to all they hold dear. This is especially true for Gay liberals as they continue to fight for re-defining marriage to include same sex couples. While it is true that the Republican Party stands firmly against this and in support of the traditional family, homosexuals need to give up on their myopic view of the world and see whole the real enemy of Gays around the world is, radical Islam.

It has always struck me as a contradiction to hate and oppose the very people who are waging war on the ideology that would exterminate homosexuals simply for their choice of lifestyle. The Democrats have openly stated that they would pull out of Iraq if they take control of Congress and anyone who does not see that radical Islam would view this as a victory is not paying attention. They are operating under the belief that the United States does not have the stomach for a prolonged conflict and will ultimately put its tail between its legs and run.

Liberals would have you believe that if we mind our own business and bring the troops home we will be left alone and live in peace, undoubtedly holding hands and singing Kumbaya. The reality is that radical Islamic forces feed off of perceived weakness and would intensify their quest to convert the world to their interpretation of their religion. They want Sharia law across the world and the very people who believe they would benefit by defeating the Republican Party and withdrawing from the war on terror would be only putting them selves in greater danger. Where is the logic in that? Republicans are against gay marriage; radical Islam is against the very existence of homosexuals. If there is any doubt about how radical Islam feels about homosexuality it should be put to rest by this column in the Manchester Evening News:

A ROW has blown up over a claim a prominent Manchester Muslim has defended the execution of sexually-active gay people as "justified".

Arshad Misbahi, a junior Imam at the city's Central Mosque is alleged to have confirmed that it is an acceptable punishment in Iraq and Iran.

His comments are said to have been made to psychotherapist Dr John Casson who is researching the persecution of gays in Islamic states. But they have been condemned as "encouraging conflict between the area's large gay and Muslim communities. Manchester Evening News

American homosexuals need to consider which of the two is the greater evil; Republicans or radical Islam. As we go to the polls in a few days we should keep in mind the threat posed to all people by radical Islam and vote to keep strong leadership in Washington that is willing to fight this evil. Voting for the Democrats would result in a cut and run philosophy and weaken this Nation in the eyes of the world and, in particular, in the eyes of radical Islam.

Apple Insults Muslims?

As ridiculous as this may seem, the Apple Corporation has been accused of offending Islam buy building a new store! Where will the madness end? Islamic sensitivity has now extended to architecture as the new Apple building on New York’s 5th Avenue has drawn the ire of Islamists. The spectacular glass building has Islamic fundamentalists claiming that its cube shape is a mockery of a sacred Muslim temple.

Radical Muslims have conjured up one more reason to rage against America - the Fifth Avenue Apple Store.

A message posted Tuesday on the extremist Al-Hesbah Web site ripped Apple for erecting a glass cube - "clearly meant to provoke Muslims" - outside its new outlet on the corner of West 58th Street. NY Post

When radical Islam is offended by American Architecture, you know that they have set their sites on all things American. It would appear that everything is fair game as radical Islamists are so thinned skinned that a westerly wind would offend them. Perhaps the Pegasus logo of a major oil company will be construed as a mockery of the Prophet’s winged horse or the next new automobile’s shape will be deemed offensive if its curves in any way resemble a crescent moon. The United States is clearly expected to walk on eggshells of political correctness as pertains to Islam, but enough is enough!

The time has definitely come to draw the line in the sand and dispense with political correctness. The war on terror is clearly a clash between the ideology of radical Islam and the West, and should be treated as such. No more going through an impotent United Nations or pandering to liberal judges. It is time to take this war seriously and execute it with utmost force. Radical Islam is a threat not only to the West, but to peaceful Islamic people as well. This ideology is a cancer to the civilized world in much the same way Hitler’s Arian Supremacy Nazi movement was and must be stopped at all costs. With the Korean problem growing daily, the conflict with radical Islam must be won decisively and done so quickly. No more tiptoes, bring in the heavy lumber.

Loyalty

Regular readers of this blog have undoubtedly noticed that I took a week off. I needed to recharge my batteries as the deceitful, cut-throat backstabbing of the pre-election political season has become enough to make anyone feel like throwing up. Sadly the same conditions that exist in the national political arena are all too common place in the corporate political arenas across our Nation as well. It leads me to ask the following question, is there any loyalty left in this Country, or is it truly every man for himself?

I have lived my life by code of morality and ethics based on faith and family. As I watch the news and experience life in corporate America, I have been overwhelmed with a feeling of despair at the lack of loyalty that exists in our society. One would think that the good of the Nation or the good of a company would override the need for personal gain. We see on a regular basis, however, people putting their selfish drive for political or monetary gain ahead of everything else and trampling the lives of all those who get in their way in the process.

There is no respect between politicians, and board rooms of major corporations have become snake pits of vipers striking at each other when their backs are turned, regardless of how many years they have worked together. How have we come so far down this road? The erosion of societal values is what I perceive as the downfall of our society today. The family is no longer the cornerstone of America, and marriage has become a target of the Left, in its never ending quest to undermine the moral fiber of this Great Nation. Will we go the way of the Romans; a complete decent into immorality and political corruption? It is only through the efforts of individuals to turn the tide and take us back to a more civilized age.

I say: “Only when we look back down the path of our lives do we take note of those who stood behind us and helped us grow, and those who gave up or turned their backs on us. Stand behind the people in your life, so when they look back, they know you were there”.

Russia – Back to Old Tricks

The Russia of today is looking increasingly like the Soviet Union of old. Slowly expanding its territory and, now, allegedly killing those who speak out against the government. Gone are the strides to democracy taken by Boris Yeltsin and former KGB Officer Vladimir Putin appears to be taking the Kremlin back to the tactics of the twentieth century.

"The United States urges the Russian government to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation in order to find, prosecute, and bring to justice all those responsible for this heinous murder," it said in a statement on its Web site www.state.gov.

"The intimidation and murder of journalists -- 12 in Russia in the past six years, including American citizen Paul Klebnikov on July 9, 2004 -- is an affront to free and independent media and to democratic values." Story

The Soviet Union was a master at misdirection and subterfuge. Putin appears to be using the distractions of Iraq, Afghanistan, and North Korea to his benefit and attempting to rebuild the evil empire. Ronald Regan’s magnificent triumph over evil is in danger of being but one chapter in Russian history and the nations of Eastern Europe need to be aware of the danger that is growing in their midst.

Anna Politkovskaya was a journalist who was a very vocal critic of President Vladimir Putin. With no regard for freedom of speech, the mother of two was murdered in her apartment. There is little doubt that her murder was meant to silence her voice, a voice of dissent. Dissenting voices had better beware as the price for the freedom of speech has gone up. Doubtless there are secret police lurking in the shadows waiting to expose anyone who questions the new Russia and its policies.

Russia: Evil Empire Returning?

The Cold War is in the rearview mirror for the West; reclaiming lost territory is in the sights for the former USSR. Where does the future of the independent nations that once belonged to the former Soviet Union lie? Events taking place in Eastern Europe indicate that Russia is well on its way to reclaiming its lost empire. Is the Evil Empire poised to make a comeback?

With the focus of the West on its war with islamo-fascist terrorism, Russia has been working diligently to reclaim its past glory. People wondered why they were obstructing all attempts by the West to reign in Iran, but the strategy has now been revealed. Russia has bought Iran enough time to become the most dangerous threat to the West and ensuring that they will attract the most attention. Meanwhile, they have been orchestrating a takeover of neighboring territories under the guise of “legitimate” elections. The ramifications of the chess game put in motion by Vladimir Putin will ripple through the former Eastern Block nations for years to come.

In the case of Russia's effort to assimilate the Transnistria region of the former Soviet Republic of Moldova, now an independent nation, the Kremlin has followed this well-worn script to the letter. On September 19, the slightly more than half-million residents of this region bordering Ukraine and Moldova (several hundred miles from the nearest Russian territory) voted to declare independence from Moldova with an eye towards an eventual union with Russia. Only about a third of Transnistria's population are Russian-speaking. Another third are ethnic Ukrainian, with the remainder a collection of Moldovan and other Balkan nationalities.

The legitimacy of this referendum was not recognized by the E.U. (or any other government), and has been denounced by the Moldovan government. But in Moscow the vote was heralded as the first step of a multi-staged effort for Russian reacquisition of territories lost after the fall of the Soviet Union. Moscow continues to maintain a military force of some 1,300 personnel in Transnistria. Weekly Standard

This subtle move of expansion is likely the precursor of an overall plan for a return of Russia to the glory days of old. This will certainly take overall global tension to another level. This is yet another ominous reminder of the state of the world in the years leading up to WWII. We have the anti-Semitic Iranian islamo-fascist terror machine running full bore toward the latest attempt to eliminate the Jews from the world. We also have the Russian expansion to absorb its neighbors, not unlike Hitler’s moves to take control of its neighbors. The clouds of global conflict are gathering and they are eerily reminiscent of the late 1930’s.
